Remedial Massage Therapy

Discover the benefits of remedial massage therapy and how it can help you solve common health problems, in particular musculoskeletal pain.  Have you ever caught yourself saying any of the following:

  • My back is sore
  • My muscles are tight
  • I can’t move properly
  • My neck is stiff
  • My joints hurt
  • My training is taking a toll on my body
  • I get headaches
  • I need to start looking after my body
  • My shoulders don’t rotate like they used to
  • I feel weaker than usual
  • I must be just getting old
  • I have migraines now and then

If any of the above resonates with you, chances are a decent massage could possibly help you.

Remedial Massage is a treatment modality that manipulates the soft tissues of the body including movement for a specific therapeutic effect, rather than a general therapeutic effect.  Massage can stretch muscles, inhibit muscle spasm, increase flexibility and helps break down scar tissue.  Therefore it can help you recover from injury, accidents, sports injuries and surgery.

Kellie is a Remedial Massage Therapist with over 19 years experience working with allied health professionals, sports clubs, day spas and also volunteering at sporting events.

Massage uses relevant techniques and movements according to the client’s needs and response.  We utilise not only massage but also dry needling, cupping, stretching and strengthening modalities.

A neck and shoulder massage can alleviate repetitive strain injuries resulting from poor posture or sitting for long periods.  If you play sport or are training for something specific a regular massage can help prevent injury.  A remedial massage therapist can develop a massage program in conjunction with your training to maximise your performance and rehabilitation.

Our Remedial Massage is operated strictly by appointment only.  Overall, massage can increase blood circulation and improves lymphatic fluid flow in the body.

New patient enquires are welcome, and appointments can be made with our therapist Kellie Moyle directly on 0428 640 985 or via emailing kellie@kmfit.com.au during normal business hours.

HICAPS is conveniently available to claim through your health fund provider on the spot. EFTPOS is also available.
